I’m looking for a light weight backpack to just keep with me for those quick treks out. I have been looking at Think Tank Gear and I have decided that I’m going to purchase the Think Tank Photo BackLight Sprint Camera Backpack (Woodland, 15L)
It is designed for the photographer who wants a smaller less bulky bag as the BackLight Sprint is a slim, lightweight backpack that is ideal for hiking or treks around town. I think it will be a great backpack for those short treks.
Despite its slim profile, the pack will hold a standard-sized camera body and the trifecta of zoom lenses and will even hold my 150-600 mm lens on body. Perfect!!
KEY FEATURES:
- Back-panel access to your camera gear without taking the pack off, allowing you to work out of the bag without getting your harness dirty, wet, muddy or icy ( I love this!!)
- Slim, lightweight backpack for the minimalist photographer or for those short treks
- Front pocket offers 2 liters of capacity for personal gear and opens vertically on the right side for easy access without taking off the pack – woohoo
For those of you wanting something just a little bigger – the BackLight® 18L might fit the bill.
The BackLight® 18L, like the spring, has a rear-panel compartment for photo gear, allows you to access your gear without taking off the backpack.
You can change lenses or just snap a quick photo simply by rotating the bag to the front of your body while the waist belt is still secured.
KEY FEATURES
- Back-panel access to your camera gear without taking the bag off, allowing you to work out of the bag without getting your harness dirty, wet, muddy or icy
- Dedicated compartments fit up to a 13” laptop and full size tablet
- Daypack capacity! Front pockets totaling 5L carry personal gear for a day’s outing: extra layers, a light jacket, food, etc.
I will do another post and let you know what I think of my Sprint once I get it.
